Tuesday: Happy 100th
Although things feel odd at the moment, today brought a real semblance of normality. This afternoon I drove out to Surrey to deliver a birthday message to Winnie Tyler who turned 100 a few weeks ago.
Winnie, originally from Cornwall, served in the RAF in WW2, and I was so pleased to be able to take her a message from the Air Chief Marshal of the RAF. We had little cakes and tea too.
