Tree Sparrows

We have so many Sparrows in our garden, they are all over the place. Mainly they are House Sparrows, but we do have Tree Sparrows like this one too. 

We have done it - we have cancelled our holiday on North Uist. I have had the two weeks in the house we love booked for a long time, as lots of other people like it too. It was not until the end of August and beginning of September and we kept thinking - surely by then . . . surely by then. . . But, coming from England where the virus is nowhere near under control, and going to Scotland where they have been much more successful, and especially to the Hebridean Islands - I don't think we would be very welcome, even by then. So it is cancelled and the owner has been very good about it - I even got my 'non-returnable' deposit back immediately. He is finding it very difficult to know what to do at the moment. Our daughter and her husband (who arrived back to their home in London last night for the first time for three months), have had to give up all idea of having their Cornwall cottage ready for rental this year. There are so many safety regulations now for self-catering accommodation.
