I was into one of the schools I work at today. I don't have the bike any more and didn't fancy the bus so thought I'd take the opportunity to see if it would be viable to walk it. It's not that far really (3 miles on a flat surface) however that's a lot farther than Ive walked for a long time. I must be a lot fitter than I was before lockdown though as when I used to get a particular bus because it went 1 stop nearer the school and that felt like a big difference. Walking there was fine but I probably should have bussed it back as my knees are definitely complaining!
