Day 101 A different approach
A day of very average weather with a couple of showers here and there but not enough to soak in MR MC's carefully applied lawn treatment. Instead, Violet, The Son and I walked out onto it unwittingly, to refill the bird feeders, and came in with stained feet. I must add that we all three like to go barefoot in the garden when possible, in case you were wondering!
The bees were active on the hardy geraniums today. The seem to go round in circles when seeking pollen from this particular type, no idea why. In extras I've put what I think is the pupal stage of a ladybird. Those with greater knowledge may be able to verify or correct me.
In other news:following the lockdown in Leicester, local coronavirus testing data is now to be shared with councils and it remains a mystery as to why this hadn't happened before. Hopefully with this new information, flare ups of infection can be dealt with more swiftly.
No news on the promised air bridges. Perhaps other countries are not as keen to let us in without quarantining as the government imagined!
