Holiday souvenir.

Decided on an indoor blip as it has been mizzling all day, and quite cold. Down to 11C this morning.

In September 2005 we visited Dieulefit which is in the Drome area of France.
The town is famous for pottery, and there were certainly some beautiful pottery shops and so many different designs.
This is the dish we bought as the colours fitted in with the kitchen. Always have it filled with fruit, but today I thought the design was abstract enough for Abstract Thursday.

Last night we watched “ Marvellous “.
A 90 minute film based on a true story.
A wonderful cast. The main character, Neil Baldwin, played by Toby Jones, who played the part brilliantly.
Neil was born with learning difficulties, and left school at 16 to become a circus clown.
What happened to him after that will make you laugh, and make you cry.
We watched the film when it was first shown in 2014, but enjoyed it even more this time.
If you haven’t seen it I highly recommend watching it on catchup.
