Flower Friday. - Lily, “ Original Love”.

The first of our lilies has just opened, and is now getting blown to bits.
We were tempted to put the heating on. More like autumn!

Very glad this morning is over. Very stressful!
Mr C had a Motorway Awareness Course. Zoom meeting.
After a slight hiccup signing in. ( Their fault not ours!)
However it all went well. I actually sat in on the meeting too. All two and a half hours!
Fortunately had a 10min. break halfway through.
The young man running the course made everyone feel at ease. Only 6 people in total, from all over the country.
Did we learn anything? I think it just made us more aware of some of the new signs.
Will certainly concentrate more on the overhead speed limits, which keep changing at busy times on the M62.
We can now breath a sigh of relief it is over.

Hope people are sensible this weekend when the pubs etc. open for the first time, and people can travel for holidays.
I expect the roads will be very busy.
Must say I am looking forward to having my hair cut.
