Trowie Crossing

A fine warm morning, with sunny spells.  Cloudy in the afternoon, much cooler, and showers started.  More showers this evening, and windy.

Up early, and a day working at my desk.  I went for a run at lunchtime.  I managed a good walk with Sammy this evening, before the rain got heavy.  Feet up by the fire now.

I headed out west for a quick run at lunchtime.  As I came by this passing place, I couldn't help but notice the sign has been changed, now a Trowie Crossing.  Trows are similar to trolls, they are mischievous, story tellers  like music, usually short and shy.  You find them all over Shetland, and live in Trowie Knowes in the hills.  These guys seem to be chatting with this sheep, before they cross the road.  A lucky capture, as they are usually nocturnal.  Taken at the Burn of Voxter, near Gonfirth.
