Coal Tit

A long day today. It is cloudy most of the day. The dual coloured daffodils are out in the local park. It is sunny in Fife though.

After work, I notice the bird feeder is quite busy. A coal tit spends a long time on the peanut feeder, while on the seed feeder, the goldfinches are taking their time, enjoying the sunshine.

I then head out for a bike ride to Balerno, and carry on the A70, turning left on to Glenbrook Road. I had intended to go a wee bit further but a rain shower heads across the road at Haughhead. This takes me back to Balerno. The route from around Balerno is pretty bumpy until I get to Mansfield Rd. Instead of heading to Lanark Rd, I turn right on to Harlaw Rd, and take the high route to Bonaly along Harlaw Rd to Easter Kinleith. I take the rough off road route via reservoirs. It is a sort of homage to the Paris - Roubaix that generally occurs on the first weekend of April. En Forårsdag i Helvede, instead of a Sunday.

Nice views across the Clubbiedean and Torduff reservoirs. I could stop and take a million pictures. There's ashap descent into Bonaly, and from there it's along Redford Rd to Fairmilehead and home.
