Magical morning

It was a beautiful sunny day and friend J and I decided to take a few hours off to enjoy a wonderful cliff top walk. We started from the colourful machair at Calgary (main) and headed round the bay. We were surprised to find some lively tadpoles in a couple of puddles; surely they should be turning into little frogs by now? It was delightful to share our walk with butterflies, wheatears, pippets, stonechats, ravens, eiders, a heron and a kestrel, all enjoying the beautiful day with us. The extras show the view that we had out to Treshnish Point and the Treshnish Isles beyond.
