Rainbow family

Late last year an ex-student announced on facebook that he was going to be a father. It caused quite a bit of comment - and was followed up a few days later with the birth hatching of his 'baby'.

Today Kiwilizzie got us invited around to photograph the offspring. Here are his rainbow lorikeet pair, Bluey and Brissa with the six week old baby. Aren't they a beautiful family? That is ex-student H's shoulder they're on - making it a full family get-together.
