Flower Friday

We planted some new hybrid tea roses 3 or 4 years ago and since then they've been a bit disappointing - until this year! Currently they're covered in lovely blooms so I must have done better with the feeding etc this year. We particularly like the pink tinge to the petal edges on this one. If you look really closely you'll see that it's been photobombed by a tiny creepy-crawly!

Silly Saturday: I think lots of blippers already know that, in memory of blipper Admirer (Willemien), we have a plan to continue to run the Silly Saturday challenge on the first Saturday of every month, starting tomorrow. So please do get your thinking caps on and let's make this a success: I'm sure Willemien would be delighted to know that her challenge is going to continue. Some potential ideas for a new tag have been suggested, but for now at least I think it's probably simplest to continue with the SilS tag - so tomorrow let's use SilS196).
