Silly Saturday - in Memory of Admirer

This is the first of our new monthly Silly Saturday challenges, to be held in grateful memory of blipper Admirer who sadly passed away two weeks ago. She gave us so much fun and laughter with this challenge which she started and hosted so well for almost 4 years. She always said that she looked forward to “find all the silly, comical and funny images” which fellow blippers would upload, and we all looked forward just as much to taking and uploading them. This blip will give you a laugh – and make you “paws” for thought (groan!). My better half (aka my Editor) has recently been repainting the side door of our garage, and on Thursday she put what was meant to be the final coat of black gloss on the roughly grained wood of the garage doorstep. She made a lovely job of it…but when she went back a while later to check on it, this is what she found. A silly neighbourhood cat had managed to plant its paws in the still-tacky paint!

We don’t have any pets of our own but we do get several cats wandering through and enjoying our garden each day. So we’re now looking for a cat which is frantically trying to lick black paint off its paws! If we catch it…no, that would be cruel, we wouldn’t do anything silly to it :-))
