Flowers at the river...

were beautiful this morning. There was Honeysuckle, Melancholy Thistles, Foxgloves, Meadow Sweet, Valerian and a host of others, Sandpipers were much in evidence, as were Grey Wagtails and Mallard. Managed several hours in the dry and it didn't start to rain until my second afternoon walk, but that was mostly in the woods so sheltered and pleasant anyway.
The female Siskin was enjoying the peanuts in the feeder so put her in as an extra.
