so a different aspect of the Castle, grounds and Ben Rinnes.
Had a great walk, dry all the way and followed an ancient track down , unused except by the farmer. Didn’t realise what an amazing view there was from here, all the Cairngorms, all the Cromdales, over to Ben Rinnes and and north east.
Strange going up through the woods as the migrants seem to have left or were silent, just the residents, Crossbills, Wrens, Woodpeckers, Chaffinches, and the various Tits. They were all calling so very pleasant.
Everything is very lush at the moment and the farmers have managed their first silage cuts.
