Flower bouquet

A friend brought us some lovely flowers, unusual to have protea with roses but they make a nice arrangement.

Very windy today but no rain. Petunias looking very battered so had to do lots of dead heading. Lots of trusses of green tomatoes and a few small cucumbers in pots on balcony and in garden at home. The fuchsias I got as plug plants have at last got some buds...maybe there will be flowers in a few days.

Cycle ride in the afternoon , went over to Taggs Island near Hampton Court and looked around didn’t realise it had so many houseboats etc. Swans and six cygnets on the Long Water in Home Park and saw some new born deer there too.

- had grandchildren for the morning, went down to the river on their balance bikes
- sorted out all the Toot-toot toys and advertised one lot for sale
- another Tesco delivery with no substitutes!
