DIY sports day

There are some benefits to living opposite a car park!
We didn’t really do a sports day as such but Anya’s school have had a sports themed week so we decided to join in with them too. She had a great day today; writing her own story based on Cinderella, maths work with money, life-cycle science and learning all about Mary Seacole, which was a highlight for her because anything medical is right up her street! Some days she just amazes me with her resilience and energy for life. Lockdown life is becoming rather tedious for me now but she is just thriving and I do feel so lucky to have had this time with my big girl.

We had our house painted recently, I’m really pleased with the result (in the background here)
