Orange sulphur butterfly
Sunday
We are now back to just the two of us, Laura having left Thursday evening, and Philip on Friday afternoon, to drive to Virginia, where he should be starting a new job soon, though he doesn’t have an actual starting date yet. After breakfast we watched our church service, then in the afternoon went walking round Winton Woods - we’d had a fair bit of rain over the last couple of days, so wanted a path rather than a muddy trail! The “harbour” is now open, and so there were several boaters and Fishermen out on the lake. This pretty butterfly posed nicely for me atop a Black-eyed Susan, and upon a bit of googling when we returned home, I discovered it is called an Orange Sulphur butterfly.
