Mary Mary quite Contrary ...

No painting today but we have been romping with Esme, who, inspite of a cold, was in excellent form. She has a new swing, played in her sandpit, climbed her slide, rode her little bike and chatted nonstop. In the afternoon we went to the beach. A raft of fragile anemone shells had been deposited at the high tide mark - see extra as Esme examines one - and someone else had spent a lot of time being madly creative with razor shells and greenlipped mussels. It's the simple pleasures.
