Wet, Wet,Wet

It has rained steadily all day , the river levels are up and the ground is soggy . Have been out and about with Arthur and co . He slept snug as a bug in his buggy . We had forgotten our overtrousers so we were soaked from the knees down !
I took the picture from beneath the gracefully curving boughs of an old beech tree . Dave is on the edge of the frame  taking pics of ducks - we will print them off for Arthur who likes birds . 
Had a long chat with my sister and caught up on the family news , a big family so lots of news to catch up on . Several of the family live far enough away from the city of Leicester to have avoided the second lockdown , they are out in their locals celebrating , hopefully SD celebrations.
A short entry as I hope to call my dad for a chat before the staff are too busy with the bedtime routines .
