Home ground

It’s like we were away for a millenium. The stone seat is overwhelmed by weeds, the tomatoes cover 2 square metres each, and the watermelon is now covering 4 x 3 metres. I’ll leave aside the annihilation of my broccoli crop by the shield bugs (though I reserve the right to come back to it in future blips I have already written...)

Busy work day. The others foraged for food and (our) rabbits.

I realised I need a proper holiday, not just a weekend.
