Trust (Day 1886)

It started off pretty wet this morning, and the weather forecast promised us more of the same throughout the day.
We borrowed a trailer from a mate (who owns the blue boiler suit of infinite wisdom) and  my beautiful wife and I headed across to Tankerness to load up a roller HV had found on the local sales page. Once loaded, we set out for Stromness and unloaded the roller at the yard, then wandered down to check on the horses.
Jeepers has been coming out of his shell a bit and we are seeing a lot more.of his personality. Today he was being quite mischievous, and having stolen my hat, he spent a while nuzzling HV's face. She had to trust him as he licked and nibbled her face (extra)
Back home to drop off the trailer, then lunch and a wet wander with the woofers at Lyde.
After coffee at home, and as the sun came out, we zoomed through to Stromness again to put rugs on all the horses. The forecast for tonight is stronger winds and heavy rain.
