Big long walk Sunday

This morning we met up with our friend, Angela, and went for a 7 mile walk through Tehidy Woods to Hells Mouth and then back along the coastal path. As soon as I got let off my lead in the woods I found mud. Yay! Fortunately it was a lovely sunny day so by the time we got back to Angela's house, two and a half hours later, most of the mud had dried and fallen off me.

Ann loves walking coastal paths. Unfortunately she kept me on my lead because the path went quite near the cliff edge but I had lots of 'off lead' run about time in the woods.

One of Ann's ambitions is to walk around the whole coastline of the UK. She's already walked the 630 mile South West Coast Path with 'MollyCollie' so only another few thousand miles to go then?!!! and our May/June project for this year was to walk the Fife Coast Path, but obviously Covid-19 put a stop to that. Do you think it's a feasible project? Apparently there's already a coast path around the whole of Wales, the coast path around the whole of England is due to be finished in 2021 so it's only really the west coast of Scotland that could be a problem. It could be our ten year project while we're still both young enough to do it. Buy a camper van and off we go like Lady in the Van. Oh dear lock down is driving my human mad. On the other hand, life is not a dress rehearsal and why shouldn't we spend the next 10 years doing something we want to do. Live for the moment and all that!

…..............And in other news...................... Cornwall doesn't seem to be nearly as busy as we thought it would be. The A30 to Tehidy was fine. I had to wait in the car while Ann popped into Aldi to buy a few bottles of Prosecco much cheaper to buy alcohol in England and also great not to have to wait until 10am to buy it because the weather forecast is looking good for the next few days so we're hoping to have lots of friends around for a social distancing glass of vino or two. From what we've seen on FB today everyone's been social distancing on the beaches too so all is good so far.

PS – Tomorrow Ann is going to the hairdressers and then out to a restaurant in the evening. #gettingbacktonormal

PPS - She might even put on some mascara for the occasion. Lol!!!!
