Playing in the field in the rain

This afternoon we had a plan. The plan was go to B&M and buy some more solar powered lights and then go on a circular walk from Marizion through the fields to Perranuthnoe and back along the coastal path. Best laid plans and all that......................... This afternoon it rained and rained and rained!!!

After I'd sat in the car and waited while Ann went into B&M, she said, 'Trixie it would be absolute madness to walk you for more than an hour in this weather. We'll both end up incredibly wet & muddy. Lets just go home and you can have a play in the field instead.' So that it what we did.

I didn't mind. I like going out with Ann even though I didn't even get out of the car. Also I'd had a 'first thing in the morning walk' and then after my breakfast we'd had to walk about 3 miles to pick up Ann's car that she'd left last night after consuming a few glasses of wine.

This photo doesn't actually show how wet and rainy it was in the field so you'll just have to believe us when we say it was wet!!! The rules of ball playing are............ once I've flopped down in 'tired mode' three times, the game is over and we go home. Fortunately it only takes about 10 mins to tire me out. But we still both got soaked through to our skin in that time.

Ann says if the rain stops she might take me for a little trek around later but I don't care. Some days I walk for miles and miles and miles. And some days I don't.

I just fit in with whatever Ann wants me to do. I really am the most chillaxed, adaptable little collie pup ever.

PS – It's still raining and apparently thunder and lightening are forecast for tonight. Boohooo.
