I’m afraid I just......

.......could not do a mono on the day, the very day that my first sunflower unfurled itself!!

I sowed this, seeds taken from my birdseed, in the depths of depression in late March. It all seemed so dire....the cancelled holiday, the lockdown & the increasingly bad news. I’m delighted that they all germinated & most will flower.

We’ve got used to the restrictions & most are coping. The news is still dire with the consequences of what had to be done but we will come through it. I truly believe that.
