The "lion door" in St Mary's Passage, Oxford. I've heard rumours that this carving, along with it's two flanking fawns and lamppost were part of CS Lewis's inspiration for Narnia. I'm not sure if there is any truth in it but it makes for a nice story.

I took the picture because I had been reminded of it by a sculpture we'd seen in Brecon that I had thought was similar... Turns out it wasn't at all, but never mind.
