I‘m just sitting watching....

....... Flowers in my very own mini wild flower meadow, about 10 weeks ago I planted three pots with a wild flower mix and these are the results. 

We had our usual walk around the quarry this morning, it was like walking in a bowl of Rice Crispies, snap crackle and pop went all the little snails underfoot. Trying to capture some wild life,  just get the camera set up when Stanley decided he wanted in on the action and scares everything away, I did manage to get these cinnabar moths, Mr PC says he called them blood suckers when he was a boy.

Back home we sat in the conservatory having coffee and planning our day, the sparrows kept us amused having a dry mud bath in our border. Another busy day in the kitchen more jam making and put a kilo of tomatoes to dry in the dehydrator, first time we’ve used it for tomatoes so fingers crossed.

Later we went into the garden and potted on the nigella seedlings and planted another batch of lettuce, good job we like salad.

Dry and sunny most of the day, until we wanted to go for a walk just before dinner and the heavens opened and it poured down. Still managed to go later.

Hoping to have a more relaxing day tomorrow.
