Sutton Lane Meadows

A quick walk with Andrew before setting off for Kendal. Southern hay meadows are glorious, quite different in feel from northern. These ones had marbled white butterflies.
A reasonable journey home was capped by finding three swarms of bees in various trees! So we had to spend several hours trying to rehome them, rather than having a nice sit down with a cuppa.
Anyway there doesn’t seem to be too much rain damage to the garden but I will have a good look tomorrow. I hope!
