Lonely Bird

This little glass bird sits on my fireplace mantel all alone, while those in the paper cutting are chattering away without him.

A few hours at the dentist today, a bit more involved than I'd expected, and a good long nap in the afternoon. I might've overindulged with ice cream sandwiches, but they were easy on the jaw. Didn't make it outside to water the garden, so I'm extra glad to hear raindrops on the roof now.
