Turtle Interrupted

...trying to tunnel under the garden fence. I don't think he'll be successful; there's a few inches of buried wire. Anyway, plenty for him to chew on where he is. I think he's an Eastern Box Turtle, but correct me if you're better acquainted. We occasionally stop on our street and help them cross the road; there's a definite turtle crossing point. You always have to place them farther along in the same direction, or they'll just turn and start back across again.
