All at sea
After a busy morning trying to complete jobs, including the weekly shop, N and I decided to have a trip out in the boat to make the most of a lovely sunny day. Our friend A, a recent convert to fishing, came with us.
We went further than we have ventured before in our wee boat and headed for a small loch at the mouth of Loch Sunart which has special memories for me from my childhood. From there, we headed back across to Mull and the boys fished at various likely spots as we slowly returned to our mooring.
The main is Rubha nan Gall (point of the strangers) lighthouse just north of Tobermory, while the extras show others we encountered on the water: a herring gull waiting for us to catch its tea, a lobster fishing boat casting its creels, and one of the five sailing boats we saw today; this one passing Mingary Castle on the Ardnamurchan peninsula.
