Birthday cake

After Thom's recent big celebration its now time for hannah's birthday tomorrow and I took the afternoon off to finish the last of the birthday shopping and bake her the cake. It did go a bit lopsided to say the least largely because the oven shelf was wonky but it looks delicious -Mary Berry's Cappuccino Cake-and I was quite pleased with my endeavours. Always a treat to bake in an unhurried way -very therapeutic!
