Not quite ‘39 Steps’!

Had a short walk today around the village and St Ives, it took quite along time as we met so many people to stop and chat to which was very nice. Chatted to someone in the PO queue and someone who had just been in which had been his first time in a shop in four months!
Stopping here to chat to a friend from church I admired the new steps which will make it easier for her to get up the steep slope from her cottage. Think they look very attractive with the planting as well.

Went on to the garden centre and then walked up through the St Ives woods to The Ivy Kitchen for a coffee. Last time it was a take away in the picnic area and today it was real cups on the tables on the cafe forecourt. Here we saw two of my daughter’s friends with their babies also getting drinks and then another one came in with her dad, the rest of her family sitting in the picnic area. All very pleasant to chat to and great coffee!
