Coming home

This evening I picked up Pippa and a team mate from training camp in Kortrijk. So yes, Pippa was not home when the atrocious results came out (see yesterday’s blip). The whole morning I spent on the computer and phone to school to get input from Pippa’s teachers, university councillor and DP coordinator.
We have asked for 4 remarks, but the IBO has announced tolerances - so you need a considerable change in grade for the remark to count. Feels like a double unfairness. The councillor has sent the school transcripts (which shows what the teachers think Pippa is worth) to the university and Pippa has written to the admissions office in Bath as well. Hopefully her dream of studying astrophysics in Bath can still come true...
Nothing more we can do now but wait...
