A wonderful...

hot, sunny day on this high moorland. The flowers were superb, Orchids, Ladies Bedstraw, Butterwort, Sundew, Heaths, Heathers and amazing colours, yellow, purple, blue. There were lots of birds here too, from the Eagle in the extra and including Sedge Warblers, Swallows, Sand Martins and Pipits. Butterflies were in profusion too, lots of Common Blues, Ringlets, and Red Admirals.
The walking was so enjoyable and not another person within miles!
On the way here watched the Black throated Diver with one incredibly ugly chick!
Lovely day!
