A glorious morning....

so walked up through the woods without a fleece, arriving at the dragonfly lochans as a very heavy shower arrived. Sheltered under trees, put on waterproof and when it stopped walked down to the river. Saw Common Blue damselflies, Reed Bunting, Partridge, Goldeneye and these  young Swallows that the adults had hung on the fence. They were continuously catching food from above the fields and feeding the youngsters.
The day continued very hot sun then a heavy shower then sun etc.
Quite pleasant!
