Between fen and mountains

Discarded machinery

By the looks of it, I think this must be an old seed drill of some sort. It obviously has not been used for years. The weather has been miserable again today for the most part. Today’s piece of bad news was to find that the key fob for the car which got crushed will cost over £400, a little less than the excess on the insurance policy. Maybe technology is going a little too far. Gone are the days when you could get another one cut for a tenner! Today I could not pay a bill in France as card payments now require a code sent to a mobile and that has to be a French one. After making our last delivery to the local school and having a quick walk around the fields, I went into town in the afternoon to deliver a clock and to discuss figures to see if the shop is at least breaking even. Things are not great but they could be worse. By the way I’m not always grumpy!
