Awakening

My poor garden has suffered so much in the last few months. It's totally waterlogged and been completely tramped on by builders. But despite this small signs of recovery are appearing. A wee wander today revealed that the catkins on the corkscrew hazel are just peeping through. Another spring IS on its way.

This has been such a stressful week. Third grandchild is now 10 days overdue and the waiting is getting to us. Our daughter's first baby and she is hundreds of miles away......it can't be long now.
