Lilies

Another nippy start to the day followed by more glorious sunshine, We have worked hard today! Just about all the paintwork is now done,  just a few pieces here and there and general tidying up to be done. We all love it - see extra! Esme approves too, back in town for the weekend and in fine form.
Whilst waiting for Esme to return from nursery I had a wander along the circuit - it seems we haven't been up there for ages. Interesting which flowers are out now - these lilies looked especially nice against their zigzaggy background, but daffodils and narcissus are blooming, as are camellias and early rhododendrons, and of course, mimosa/acacia/wattle and other exotics.
An early night for Esme and I think it might be the same for us.
