Almost there.

Normally these lilies would have been in full bloom now, but because of the wet, dull weather, they are still in bud. Have been like this for over a week.

I took this photo early afternoon. The sun had just broken through. Managed to dry the bedding, but left the sheets on the line as they weren’t quite dry.
Within a minute the heavens opened, and we had a tremendous downpour.
When it stopped, about half and hour later, the towels were soaking wet. Brought them inside and had to spin them again.
Decided to dry them inside, which is a good job as the rain is torrential again.

Very glad I cut back the roses and jasmine this morning.

Fortunately dry weather promised fo tomorrow .
