The Jelling stones

The Jelling stones (Danish: Jellingstenene) are massive carved runestones from the 10th century, found at the town of Jelling in Denmark. The older of the two Jelling stones was raised by King Gorm the Old in memory of his wife Thyra. The larger of the two stones was raised by King Gorm's son, Harald Bluetooth in memory of his parents, celebrating his conquest of Denmark and Norway, and his conversion of the Danes to Christianity. The Jelling stones are on Unesco's World Heritage List.

We left home at 10, did the first stop after 1,5 hours and the next in Jellinge, where we went for a walk around the historical sites.

A beautiful and interesting walk.

And then we drove the last hour to Viborg.

We started in the Indog Elite Centre Dog Training hall, where we prepared everything for the tomorrow's competition.

Then we drove to the hotel, got settled and then went for take away dinner.

Bedtime soon. Luckily it looks like Tango is handling his first adventure with us like a pro.
