First sight of the sea

I was out this afternoon with my daughter and we decided to visit Exmouth. It was the first time our grandson has seen the sea and he was certainly enjoying the experience. I think he was mostly taken by watching other young children running around and having fun than by seeing the sea though. Pretty soon he needed a nap so we continued our walk with him in the buggy.

Later on l collected my husband from a cycling trip he had just finished with two cycling mates. Our son and son-in-law were both working from home. So this evening we celebrated the end of the week in style with a good home made meal and a bottle of champagne they had brought us. We had to watch ourselves however as we couldn’t make too much noise in case we woke up our grandson. Another enjoyable day.
