A Wee Friend

Dear Diary,

Tropical Storm Fay stayed well west so although we got some heavy rain during the night and some wind it won't be bad today.  Just some showers off and on and possibly thunderstorms.  What a relief.  I found this wee grasshopper on the enamel feeding table on the back porch.  I've never seen such a small one.  He let me place a penny down so you can see it's size by comparison.  Small size maybe but boy what a leap when I went to take the penny away!  Big things can come in small packages!
