Let the Trumpets Sound!

Dear Diary,

Tropical storm Fay stayed well west of us but did give us a lot of heavy rain which was sorely needed.  No damaging winds though.  This morning the sun is shining and the skies are blue and the trumpets are sounding a triumphant sound.  Well, they appear to be to me but only the Hummingbirds can hear the music.  It is incredibly humid and today we will return to the suffering heat.  More normal temperatures on Wednesday after more thunderstorms though.  I do hope so as I have something fun planned for that day!
