Swiss Chard July Crop
The May 27th planting in this pot (and blip) of Swiss chard seeds has been slightly harvested twice already for stir fry or omelet additions. This evening it is ready for a bigger harvest to sauté with mushrooms and some fresh nectarines. Over egg noodles, I think.
The heat is still with us although not yet 90º today. It takes the appetite away. The garden loves the few inches of rain we had last night.
Sleep was most welcome for me and the cats!
