Sunset over the hills

Our grandson was apparently awake very early this morning, it may be because he bumped his head yesterday and it was troubling him.  Anyway he is fine but just fairly sleepy today.  We all ventured out on this sunny day and headed to Sidmouth.  Not surprisingly the beach and the local area was fairly crowded but we could see that our grandson was enjoying himself.  He was happily staring at the sun glinting on the sea and watching the children playing on the beach.  We walked with him along the seafront and into a nearby park where he was fed and then had a sleep in the pram.  An enjoyable day, we are so happy getting to know our grandson.  It's certainly a demanding time for his parents but so good that they have been able to have a change of environment and relax with the family taking a little of the strain.
