The girls are home!

Most of our day was spent collecting the hens from Margaret, where we spent a pleasant hour or more chatting over a cuppa, and settling them into their new home.
They seemed to feel at home immediately and obviously loved being out in the open after spending a couple of weeks in the barn. Extra photo - some of them just lying soaking up the sun!
We finally rounded them up into their coop about 8pm. We hope to have a better system for that, or that they will take themselves in, as it was pretty hilarious  Barry and me covorting around trying to persuade them in!
