What a small (big) world

Loved this comment form Rainette, a couple of weeks ago. Feels so true - especially today! Living in a city with so may people, from every corner of the world, still somehow all known intimately and remembered lovingly by God.

Went down to Soho with Rebekah to get some frozen yoghurt (salted caramel flavoured, our favourite) - turns out the guy serving us was from just down the road back home! Such a familiar accent, but it’s been a while since it was the norm!

Today’s online lectures were on perinatal health, given by Jamie Dornan’s dad who works as an obstetrician in Belfast.

SO much joy from this call with DTS friends, to pray together and hear how each one is getting on. Alexia from the US, Benny from Germany, Bertram from Denmark, Femke from the Netherlands, Jenny from Germany, Emma from Denmark, Peter from Jersey, Ben and Zach from Canada. Feel so proud of these guys, to see them wholeheartedly pursuing God still, through the highs and lows of everyday life.

Also saw a boy riding a unicycle today! I love this city.

Gratefuls:

- How much God has enriched my life with new relationships this year - filled with depth, honesty, encouragement, faith in Jesus and so much love.
- Thankful for the place I call home! And that today, it will be a little safer this year than most years. (Normally they’d be having bonfires right now for the 11th night).
- My sister, and what God has been doing in her life. Seeing her grow in faith and character.
- a beautiful day
- a growing view of the world, and of God.
- just how interesting this world is.
