Charlecote Park
I was first taken to this beautiful house near Stratford on Avon when I was a child. I remember the lovely day trips with my family. And I always remember the story that Shakespeare was caught poaching in this park.
The National Trust have a bit of a problem reopening this treasure. There’s obviously no entry to the house, but they can’t safely allow people into the formal gardens - no way to socially distance.
I was initially disappointed that I could only photograph my favourite views by leaning over the fence or pushing my camera through the ornamental walls. But I sat in the park and marvelled at the colour and the patterns of the sky.
Just stunning. Well worth a visit.
