Cosmos

A lovely day, warm and sunny!! 
We haven’t grown Cosmos before and there are two plants now flowering but looking a bit battered after all that rain last week!

Spent some time in the garden weeding and removing spent foxgloves and dog daisies etc. Chris cut the grass so all look quite tidy again.

Decided to have a little leisure time sitting and sewing in the afternoon. It was pretty hot. Inevitably I was drawn back to gardening tasks.

Chris brought out my phone as I’d got a message - from my beautician. She’s opening and did I want an appointment. 
Booked Tuesday at 3.15! Summer toes for the returning sun - I hope!
