Cleaning Bees!

Hubby and daughter moved the new bees from the Nuc this morning to their hive...a little trepidatiously given it’s the first time they’ve done it by themselves! The few bees left behind in the Nuc have spent the day cleaning up behind themselves...we’re hoping they head to the hive naturally when it cools down or the two of them will have to get suited again and manually move them. Not the best shot but I wasn’t suited up so didn’t get too close or stay too long!

It’s been a lovely still summers day...not too hot or sunny, just right for pottering around the garden. Hubby did take the Nomad out for a spin but I declined the invite to join him...mainly as I was still in my PJs at the time!!
